The Carers was established in 1989, by a registered nurse who saw the growing need for personalised home care services. With this clinical background The Carers focus has been providing holistic care encouraging clients to be actively engaged in their care and supporting them to remain living as independently as possible in their own home, in their own community.
Over the past 35 years, The Carers has provided contracted home care services to many local government areas across Perth and brokered their services to many other home care providers before becoming an approved provider to the Commonwealth Government for Home Care Packages and to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) as a provider for their Veteran’s Home Care program and the DVA Community Nursing program.
The Carers has developed a reputation as a home care provider known for our compassion, reliability, and personalised service delivery. We work collaboratively to create the best possible life for our clients to remain living in their own home for as long as practical. We commit to working side by side with our clients, their families and other health professionals delivering high quality individual care and support, along the aged care journey, ensuring our staff are well trained and supported while maintaining a sustainable organisation. The Carers is dedicated to promoting independence, dignity and well-being through a holistic approach that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our clients.
